your personal goals for Developing and growing Personal Learning Networks for
School Leaders by addressing one
of the prompts below:
Reflect on how your personal learning network has changed and
grown during the course of this workshop. Discuss your plans for how you plan
to continue to grow your learning network and how you hope to contribute to the
professional learning of your administrative colleagues.
Since being a part of this class, my personal
learning has changed and grown during the course of this workshop. I have
learned how to tweet, blog, and podcast. It has been good being able to
see others and how they apply their skill to personal networks such as blogs
and podcasts. It was exciting to read the feedback that was given by my
colleagues. Through this class, I have learned to keep learning and stay
abreast of the technology that is available as means of communication. We
are starting a morning announcement podcast for our students. This will be
posted on our webpage as well as a link on Facebook. I am leading a book
study at our school. Instead of passing out questions on paper, I posted
the questions on the blog that I created as a result of this class. I plan on
hosting a couple of workshops this summer: creating a blog, creating a podcast,
and creating a twitter account. I hope to inspire teachers to see how
they can utilize these with their students and parents.
